What are your fees?
We will quickly provide a quote if you phone or email us to discuss your needs. We charge an all-inclusive fee for our services without any hidden fees or charges. The only additional charge is $.51 per mile for incidental transportation. Please call or email us to set up a FREE in-home evaluation of your needs.
How is my companion selected?
Your care with Faithful Companions begins with a free, no obligation assessment and evaluation in your own home. We will first meet with you and your family to personalize a care plan that will best meet your needs. We then select a caregiver that has the skills and personality to provide the best care for your loved one. The day we start care, we will personally introduce the caregiver and train them at your home on how best to serve you. We want you to be comfortable with the person caring for you or your loved one. If you feel uncomfortable, we will continue to work with you until the right person is identified for your needs. All of our companions are bonded and insured and have a mandatory background check.
What happens if my caregiver calls off or doesn’t show up?
Our goal is to assure that our patron’s needs and expectations are always satisfied. We promise that we will be where you want us, when you need us. In the event of an unexpected call off or no show by a caregiver, we will immediately contact other caregivers that are familiar with your needs. In the event that we cannot service your needs in a timeframe that you expect, your next 2 hours of service are FREE.
Do you accept health insurance?
Unfortunately, health insurance plans do not cover our services. We are a private pay company. However, most Long Term care plans do cover non-medical home care and help with providing the assistance for daily living. We can review your Long Term care policy and help discuss the plan with your insurance carrier.
How can I make my payment?
We accept cash, check, and credit cards. Services are billed ahead for a two (2) week period and are adjusted on the subsequent billing as necessary. We will quickly process any refund due.
How many hours am I committed to?
We offer flexible hours that will fit your needs, from 1 hour to 24/7 care. You are not committed to a certain amount of hours.
Do I have to sign a long term contract?
No, we do not have a long term contract. Our service agreement simply asks that you give us a 24 hour notice if you wish to terminate our services for any reason.
